The Sunken Fragment

The second fragment fell into the ocean when the avatar was destroyed. It sank to the Sunken Empire, where the sea serpents have absorbed its power. Captain Nemo in Saltport has reported that the serpents have become more aggressive, attacking ships and dragging sailors into the deep. "The fragment is driving them mad," Zariel's voice echoes in your mind. "Slay the serpents and recover the fragment. But be careful - the Sunken Empire's wards are weakening, and something else stirs in the trench below."
