Wiki — Hirelings
Hirelings are NPC servants that live at your house, providing services (banking, trading, cooking) without traveling to town. They cost gold to create and maintain — a worthwhile investment for established players.
Requirements
- Level 50 (Hireling tab unlock)
- House ownership — must own a house. Hirelings spawn at the house.
- Max 4 hirelings per player (one of each type, or any combination up to 4).
Hireling Types
| Type | Creation Cost | Daily Wage | Service |
|---|
| Banker | 50,000 gp | 500 gp/day | Access depot/bank from your house |
| Trader | 25,000 gp | 300 gp/day | Buy/sell basic items from your house (+10% surcharge) |
| Cook | 15,000 gp | 200 gp/day | Cook food + brew potions from raw materials |
| Steward | 10,000 gp | 100 gp/day | House management (decoration, guest list, PZ toggle) |
Wages
- Daily wages are charged on login.
- Total daily wage for 4 hirelings: 1,100 gp/day.
- If you can't pay: hirelings are suspended (despawn, no services).
- Pay back wages to reactivate them.
- If wages are unpaid for 7 days, hirelings are dismissed (deleted). You must re-create them at full cost.
