Terms of Service

1. The Service

Aetheria is a free-to-play browser MMORPG in alpha. The service is provided "as is" — features may change, break, or be removed, and the server may be unavailable for maintenance at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanence of any in-game progress.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
• Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of the Server Rules.
• Account credentials are personal — sharing or selling accounts is prohibited.

3. Virtual Goods

• Aetheria Coins, items, premium time, and all in-game content are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, including in cases of account suspension for rule violations.
• Virtual goods may be modified, rebalanced, or removed as part of game development.
• During alpha, coin purchases are processed manually; delivery may take up to 24–48 hours.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use unauthorized third-party software, macros, or bots (see Server Rules for the allowed built-in automation).
• Exploit bugs instead of reporting them.
• Attack the service (flooding, probing, denial of service).
• Engage in real-money trading of accounts, currency, or items.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aetheria and its staff are not liable for lost progress, lost virtual goods, downtime, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the news page. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
