Wiki — Playing Together
Aetheria is built for company. This page is the hub for every multiplayer system — parties, guilds, spectating, trading, and the tools that keep a group coordinated.
Hunting Together
- Party System — invite nearby players, share XP, use the private party channel, and see every member as a dot on your minimap.
- Spectating — watch a party member's hunt through their eyes. Read-only: you see their viewport, never their private windows.
- Animus Mastery — per-race kill tracking that grants a party-wide XP bonus, up to +20% at Tier 4.
- Group Activities — dungeons and encounters designed for a full party, with mechanics that can't be soloed.
Finding a Group
- Team Finder — browse or post LFG listings by activity type and role, then join with a click.
- Taskboard — community board where players post tasks with gold rewards held in escrow.
- VIP List — track friends, see when they log in, and organize them into groups.
Guilds
- Guild System — create a guild, manage ranks, set a MOTD, and use the guild channel.
- Guild Trials — weekly competition for Trial Points and the Aetherian Crown across hunting, PvP, and completion tracks.
- Guild Wars — declare war on rival guilds and fight under war rules.
- Faction Allegiance — a guild leader can align the whole guild with one of the 10 factions, shown on the guild's portal page.
Player Trade & Communication
- Player Trading — face-to-face secure trades between two players.
- Market & Grand Exchange — asynchronous buy/sell offers with auto-matching, price alerts, and a 2% Forge Coffer tax.
- Mail System — send items and gold to offline players through parcel post.
- Chat Channels — World, Trade, Help, Guild, Party, and player-run private channels.
Shared World Tools
- Live Map Share — opt in to show your position as a dot on the portal's live world map so friends can find you. See Map Discovery.
- Party Minimap Dots — party members appear on your minimap in real time, updated about once per second.
- Marriage — marry another player for shared XP bonuses and a spouse teleport.
- Houses — own a home, invite guests, and decorate with furniture and hirelings.
Competitive Multiplayer
- PvP System — combat modes, the skull system, and world-type rules.
- Worlds & PvP Types — pick between PvP, No-PvP, and PvP-Enforced worlds.
- Event Standings — live score tables during scoring events rank every participating player.
- Highscores — server-wide rankings for level, skills, and more.
