Wiki — Spectating & Replays
Watch your party members hunt in real time, review your own deaths with a damage recap, and replay recorded sessions with the killcam player.
Spectate Mode
- Who you can watch: members of your own party. Spectating is a same-party feature — no public or stranger spectating.
- How to start: right-click a party member in the battle list and choose Spectate (web client), or use the native client's spectate command.
- What you see: your target's full viewport — their map, the creatures around them, combat effects, positional speech, and their health and mana.
- What you never see: private payloads are filtered server-side — the target's inventory, mail, market, trade windows, dialogs, balances, and private chat are never relayed.
- Observer only: while spectating, all gameplay actions are blocked. You can chat, inspect, and browse information panels, but you cannot move, fight, trade, or use items.
- Transparency: the spectated player is shown the names of everyone currently watching them.
- Ending a watch: stop spectating any time to snap back to your own position. The session also ends automatically if you or the target logs out.
Death Recap
- When you die, the death window shows a recap of the damage taken before death — each attacker, their dominant damage element, total damage, and share of the whole.
- The killing blow is called out separately so you can see exactly what finished you.
- Use the recap to plan resistances and blessings for your next attempt — see Combat System and Blessings.
Killcam Replays
- Sessions can be recorded server-side as replay files. When recording is enabled, the death window offers a killcam button that plays back the moments around your death.
- Replays are private — a replay file can only be downloaded for characters on your own account.
- The replay player reconstructs your viewport from the recorded stream, so you can watch a fight again frame by frame.
Tips
- Spectate a party member before joining a dangerous hunt — you can scout the spawn and call out pulls on the party channel.
- Party members also appear as dots on your minimap; combine spectating with live map tools for full group awareness.
- Pair spectating with Hunt Analyzer data to coach newer party members on positioning and target choice.
