Wiki — The Prophecy Codex
Nine verses of the Prophecy were scattered among the nine arc-lords. Recover them all to complete the Codex and earn the Versekeeper title.
How it works
- Each of the nine arc-lords hoards one physical verse relic.
- Slay the arc-lord and loot the verse — the first time a verse enters your inventory it is recorded forever (loot, trade, and mail claims all count; the item itself may then be kept, sold, or donated).
- The Codex panel tracks your progress and reveals each verse's true text once recovered — and names the hoarder of any verse still missing.
- Recover all nine: the Codex completes, the title Versekeeper is granted, and the deed is announced to the world.
The Nine Arc-Lords
| Verse | Hoarded by |
|---|---|
| First — the Void before the world | Earth Elemental Lord |
| Second — the making of light | Corrupted Dryad Queen |
| Third — the sealkeeper's oath | Sandstone Scorpion |
| Fourth — the drowned crown | The Leviathan |
| Fifth — the fallen star | Azgaroth, Demon Overlord |
| Sixth — the blade of six lights | Pyraxis, Dragon Lord |
| Seventh — the watcher made flesh | Ice Witch |
| Eighth — the mortal's rising | Avatar of Morgaroth |
| Ninth — the unmaking | Azrakael's Spirit |
Notes
- Verse relics are also accepted by the Hall of Songstones — but the Codex only needs you to have possessed each verse once, so donating a verse never blocks completion.
- Verses can be traded and mailed — a verse bought from another player still counts.
