Dialogue Topics

Sand Stalkers

The sand stalkers are new -- they appeared when the Drowned King's seal first cracked. They're desert predators, but the corruption has made them bolder. They hunt in packs now, near the oasis. Sage Kaelen says they're drawn to the seal's energy, feeding on the leaking power like jackals on a carcass.

Ancient Constructs

The ancient constructs are remnants of the Drowned King's civilization -- stone guardians that patrolled his city millennia ago. The corruption has reactivated them, but twisted their purpose. They attack everything now, including us. Sage Kaelen is trying to understand their inscriptions. He says they were built to protect the seal. Now they serve the thing it was sealing.

Sand Horrors and Dune Wraiths

The sand horrors and dune wraiths are the Drowned King's soldiers -- or what's left of them. Undead, preserved by the desert's dry air and the corruption's dark energy. They guard the deeper tombs, attacking any who approach. The Drowned King's seal is cracking, and his army is waking up. One piece at a time.

The Tomb Sentinel

The tomb sentinel is the Drowned King's personal guard -- a massive undead warrior that stands before the inner chamber. It has stood there for thousands of years, and the corruption has only made it stronger. Sage Kaelen says the sentinel is the last line of defense. If it falls, the seal is exposed. And whatever is beneath the seal... it's waiting.

The Mummy Lord

Deep in the Drowned King's tomb, the mummy lord stirs. It was the King's vizier -- the one who helped him create the Seal of Binding. The corruption has twisted his loyalty. Now he serves the thing the seal was meant to contain. The irony would be poetic if it weren't so deadly. Sage Kaelen says the mummy lord carries Void Relics -- fragments of the broken seal. Recover them, and we might be able to repair it.

drowned king

We water the palms for him, the old ones say. 'Guard the living, and you guard the Seal' -- his last decree. Every bucket drawn in Dunespire is oath-work.
